Cathay Pacific offers daily direct flights to Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) from Barcelona-El Prat International Airport (BCN). Flights from BCN to HKG take around 12 hours and bring you to Terminal 1 in Hong Kong.

Upon your arrival in Hong Kong

The most convenient route between Hong Kong International Airport and the city centre is by rail - the Airport Express can get you downtown in under 25 minutes. If you prefer to take a taxi, the ride to Central in Hong Kong Island takes 30-50 minutes. For buses, you could check the schedule outside the airport terminal for the latest travel times.

This popular hiking route is on Hong Kong Island, and offers picture-perfect views of rolling mountains and the coastline. A visit to Lantau Island is also recommended, where you will discover the beautiful Tian Tan Buddha.

For a taste of traditional Cantonese cuisine, be sure to visit a local ‘cha chaan teng’ (tea restaurant), where you can enjoy popular dishes such as wonton noodle soup or sweet and sour pork.
