If you wish to shop, you should start your trip with a visit to one of the most luxurious shopping areas in the world - Bahnhofstrasse street. Here, you will find high-end shops from the Urania Sternwarte observation tower in the north all the way down to Burkliplatz, Zurich’s famous lakefront.

Zurich also boasts plenty of religious landmarks. We recommend visiting Fraumunster Church and Grossmunster Cathedral, both of which are accessible from the historic Minster Bridge. Nearby, you will find the winding lanes and picturesque buildings of Zurich’s Old Town. Only a few minutes walk away is Niederdorf, a popular dining street where you’ll find Swiss specialities such as cheese fondue, pork hotpot and ‘zopf’ – a braided bread coated with egg yolk.

To see Zurich from a bird’s-eye view, we recommend visiting Uetliberg, a mountain in the Swiss plateau that offers easy walking trails and stunning views of the entire city and Lake Zurich.
