Cathay Pacific offers flights to Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK), with a layover in Hong Kong. Flights from BKK to CGK take around 9 hours 15 minutes, including the layover, and bring you to Terminal 3 in Jakarta.

Upon your arrival in Jakarta

To get to the city centre, we recommend taking a taxi, which takes around 40 minutes. Alternatively, there’s also a train service that serves Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta Airport, getting you to BNI City Station in 45 minutes.

For a taste of Jakarta’s flavourful food, be sure to sample popular dishes such as ‘bebek goreng’ (fried duck), and ‘martabak manis’ (sweet stuffed pancake), and wash it down with a refreshing bir pletok (juice made with multiple spices).

Jakarta is also the perfect base for a trip to one of the country’s 17,000+ islands. Many of these islands boast tropical beaches and crystal clear water ideal for swimming, snorkelling, scuba diving.
